We are always expanding and diversifying our ability to work in tandem with physicians and nurses in the diagnosis and care of eye and vision health challenges.
Our commitment to outreach to our health care partners goes far beyond our attendance at trade shows, conferences and seminars - we are actively involved in providing online and print resources that can be used to help understand and explain eye care and make clear diagnostic recommendations.
Upcoming in 2009 is our 2009-2010 Directory of Ontario Optometrists and Desk Reference - a complete, one-stop shop publication that not only provides contact information for all of OAO's member optometrists, it also provides diagnostic tools such as Amsler Grids, "what the patient sees" simulations, information on when to refer and more.
